Day 7: Playing {31 Days of My Babies}

I love playing with Hadley.
She is at the age now where she is exploring the world around her.
There is something truly magical about watching your own child learn about the things around them.

When Hadley sees something new, she stares in amazement for a long time until she decides how she will react to it.
Here she is discovering the swings at the park for the first time.
It didn't take long for her to fall in love.

And seriously, who wouldn't love this view :)

Day 5: First Time Meeting {31 Days of My Babies}

I wasn't going to write anything for these, but Isaac's requires a little explanation.  I did technically get to see Isaac as soon as he was born.  He was placed on my chest by my midwife, but he was not making any noise or moving and after I asked, "what is wrong with my baby" he was whisked away to the nursery.  He was born at a rural hospital and was to be air lifted to a children's hospital an hour or so away with a NICU.  We did have a first picture together the night he was born but it was on an old phone my Mom no longer has. (I also don't like seeing the picture because Isaac is in such a sad state).  The helicopter paramedic let me hold Buddy with all of his cords and oxygen for two minutes before he was to leave.  I am forever grateful to that man.  My family and friends stood at the nursery window with tears in their eyes watching me hold my first baby.
So that is my long little explanation about why this is "our first meeting" since we met a few days earlier than this.

Day 3: Landon {31 Days of My Babies}

Today is all about this little puppeteer!
Landon is a full blown two three year old.
I remember his first birthday.  I was so sad for him to grow up.
Now it's a joy to have his birthdays!  In a good way of course :)
Now onto Landon's extra names.  I usually call him Landon.  Boring I know.
He also goes by:
Landyboo, Pooh, Landypooh, Baby Landon (this should probably stop), Landyboo Goose, Brother Bear

He is my odd ball with so much loving personality wrapped up in there.

We love you Landyboo Bear Goosey Goose :)

Day 2: Isaac {31 Days of My Babies}

Today is all about Isaac.
My sweet almost 5 year old who started it all.
This little man was the one who started all of the names that his siblings now take on.
I always call Isaac Buddy.  Always have.
But he also goes by:
Buddy Bear, Buddy Bear Goose, Isaac Daniel (when he's in trouble), Buddy Goose

Holding a walking stick

So thankful for this guy who is a great big brother and son.
Love you Buddy Bear :)

Day 1: Hadley {31 Days of My Babies}

This month I am linking up with The Nester for her blogging series 31 days 2013.

Basically you blog about a topic for 31 days straight.
I have missed my blog so much lately that I decided to join in this challenge fun!
Seriously though, I love this little space where I document our little adventures.
I mostly blog about the babies here anyways, but I will focus on one kiddo each day just documenting something special they did that day, something they said or even just a picture.

I'll start with Hadley.
Shocker I know (right Mom?)

Hadley has many names (as all the kiddos do).
Mostly I call her Hadders.
But she also goes by:
Mad Hadder, Hadley Bear Goose, Sister Goose, Baby sisiter, Sister Bear, Sassy Frassy
All said with love :)

 Today she is 8 months old.
Happy 8 month birthday Sister Goose :)

Hoos Family Reunion

Last weekend we had a family reunion for my Mom's Mom's side of the family.
That was fun to type :)
I have always loved spending time with these people, but now that I'm older I understand & appreciate just how blessed we have all been by being related.  God is good & here are some pictures to prove it!

Isaac riding a truck I rode as a little kid at my Grandparent's house
Landon and my cousin Jeremy doing a puzzle
Cousin Nathan helping the kids do crazy things :)
My beautiful Mother and I
The boys on one of my Grandpa's tractors

This isn't even everyone in the family.  We are quite the group!
Chance and Hadley stayed home to grade lots of papers.  How exciting....
And my sister and her hubby stayed home because she was sick :(

Coincidentally it was my Great Aunt Fracy's birthday so we were all able to celebrate together.
My cousin-in-law (is that a word) or my cousin's husband Jordan cutting the heads off of bees.  Nice!
And sweet baby Paislee sleeping in the grass.

I didn't get any pictures of it but we all fished in the pond in the side yard and tons of catfish were caught.  Just none by me or the boys :(
It was a great day that we will always remember though and I hope someday we do it again.

Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward.  For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised.

Landon's 3rd (1st) Birthday Party

Last weekend we celebrated Landon's 3rd birthday.
He's never had a birthday party because we have lived in a different state since he was born.
So this was his 1st birthday party.
He felt so special of course and loved the monster theme

And Hadley didn't get any attention all day....

Thanks to Nini for all the decorating and cupcake making :)

So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us.  God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.

My 3 Year Old

At this time 3 years ago I had been snuggling this guy for 2 hours.

The birthdays of  my children are sweet moments for me, as they probably are for most parents.

As Landon celebrates with cupcakes and candles, I quietly ponder the speed of time.

Here he is at 3 years old.  It's truly amazing.

Happy 3rd birthday Landon!
Wow.  If I could stop the hands of time...I wouldn't.  Watching you grow from inside my belly to the big boy you now are has been a gift from God.  You are so full of life and so smart!  Nothing excites you more than an awesome truck or following your older brother.  You enjoy snuggling still which is something I'll be soaking up as long as possible.  You started school this month for the first time.  We've never been apart for this length of time during the week and you are doing fantastic.  When I drop you off you barely have time to say goodbye due to all the cool things to do there.  We enjoy you so much little man, your Daddy, Isaac, Hadley and I.  You are a wonderful little boy and I know God has great things planned for your life.

And I love you sweet boy.
Happy birthday.
