I've never been good at waiting.
And I've been the worst at it each time I've been waiting for the best gifts ever.
Our babies.

With Isaac it was waiting for him to be healthy enough to come home from the NICU.
With Landon it was waiting (almost too long) in the Arizona heat for him to make his debut.
And with sweet Hadley it is waiting for her scheduled day of arrival.

But will we be waiting much longer????
We don't know.  And it's killing me!
I went to L&D yesterday because I hadn't been feeling her move.  She is doing perfect though!

I am dilated to a 4 and was having regular contractions last night.  They have slowed down today.  It would be nice to make it at least until the weekend when my mother will be here, but I know we don't get to decide.
And it is REALLY hard to not want her here now.  I would have had her last night if it was my choice :)
So around here we are just waiting.  While waiting we are building trains, reading books to our brothers and enjoy the mid 70 degree weather.

6 days or less!

Auntie Em

Last week we had a very special guests at our house!
Auntie Em!
Her hubby sent her here as a Christmas present to her (and me it felt like)!

Even though we aren't super exciting here, it was so nice to spend some time with my best friend and for the boys to have someone who can actually get on the floor and play :)
Besides relaxing, we did some shopping, eating out and went to a rescue zoo.

My beautiful friend and two of my babies :)

Playing with her IPad.  They were addicted!

Wake up and first thing they did was beg for the IPad.  Such a good Aunt :)

Checking out the animals via tractor ride.
The boys jump at any chance to ride on a tractor!

Feeding the animals.  Landon was making sure they knew where he'd thrown his bread.  His voice melts me.  So sweet :)

Emilee helping Landon see some Madagascar type animals

My husband trying to feed Isaac to a HUGE snake.  I had to zoom way in to get this picture as I was trying to get Chance to come back.

I also have to add that I feel very blessed to have Emilee as my best friend.  We have been that way for 21 YEARS! WOW!  Love ya dude!

Baby Update

We're getting so close!  At 35 weeks I'm to the point where I have trouble thinking of anything except meeting our baby girl.  I remember with Landon that a week or two before he was born I was so annoyed that my brain wouldn't think of something else.  Hopefully I can avoid that feeling.  I am still able to do everything I normally do.  I'm not sure how much longer that will last.  She is already residing in my ribs due to my short torso :)

As far as the nursery goes, it's non-existent.  Since she will sleep in the bassinet next to our bed for longer than we have left in this house, we aren't setting up a room for her here.  But she has everything she needs to make a cute nursery when we get a place in MO.  I finished all the projects I needed to before she arrives.  Her glider is covered in pretty new material, my best friend and her mom made the mobile, the changing table/dresser is stocked and ready.

35 days until my due date.  Both boys were born before their due date.  We'll see what happens!  I can't wait!
