The Blessing

The last few nights before dinner Isaac has been reminding us to say the blessing before we eat.  If I haven't said it yet, I LOVE his school.  He is learning so much about God and it is blessing us all in this house.  Isaac's blessing is a song they sing at school before eating, I believe, to the tune of "Are You Sleeping".

God our father.  God our father.
We thank you.  We thank you.
For our many blessings.  For our many blessings.
Amen.  Amen.

Right now he is laying in his room singing it over and over.  Chance and I are wiping tears from our eyes on the couch.  And thanking our Father for his many blessings.

Pumpkin Patch

We took the boys to the pumpkin patch today.  It was fantastic!  Chance told me he really wanted to make a trip with them there and I agreed.  We had so much fun, the boys behaved, and the weather was perfect for a fall trip!

Not the best photo through the windshield but the colors of the trees are beautiful

Giant bouncy thing.  Isaac was in love!

Hayride.  Super great.  Not too many people and the boys loved the tractor and tour of the farm.  They didn't love taking pictures though ;)

Their cuteness is overwhelming sometimes.
My pregnant self tries not to cry every time I look at them :)

Pictures in a pumpkin!

We watched The Polar Express last night and while Landon was driving this choo choo he kept screaming, "ALL ABOARD!!"
It was cute of course :)

Walking through the pumpkins together

Driving the huge pirate ship.  Not a great picture but you can see the huge tube slides in the back.  Isaac and I enjoyed going down them over and over!

Headed out!

The view on the way out.  Isn't our God awesome?

4 Years

I've said it before but it only makes sense to say it again.

Time is flying!

My sweet tiny baby is now 4 years old.  He's so grown up and he makes us so proud every day!

Happy birthday my oldest baby.  You are the one who changed our lives.  We are so blessed to call you ours.  You have done so much in your 4 short years here.  You are smart and funny, but our favorite thing about you is your sweet heart.  The love you show your Dad, brother and I melts our hearts.  I love thinking of you with your baby sister.  I can only imagine how much you'll love and take care of her.  We love hearing  what you have learned at school and how you love God.  Never change my sweet boy.
We love you Isaac :)

My Salary

I was reading Real Simple and saw this cute clip and had to share.

"$112,962.  The yearly salary a 2012 stay-at-home mom would earn (that is, if she were paid), as determined by the career-advice website Salary.com.  The income was calculated by combining the average wages, plus overtime, for the jobs a mom typically performs, including laundress, janitor, driver, cook, facilities manager, psychologist, and CEO (of the household).  The results also showed that the average stay-at-home mom works a grueling 94.7-hour week and would make an average of $22.94 an hour."

Interesting, except my pay would be a little less since I make my kids do the laundry around here...

Now before you get the wrong idea, know that I love my job exactly the way it is.

Overtime and all :)

Just think of the working mommies out there.  They should be millionaires!

Baby Stuff and Pumpkins

I look forward to what is coming a lot.  And I talk about it on the blog a lot.  Sometimes I forget to not wish away time.  I am reminded on every baby's birthday and holiday just how fast it is actually going.  Trying to live more in the moment here.
Even if the moments are filled with a sick cranky 2 year old :)

I've done a few things for sister's arrival.  Mostly buy cute clothes I can't resist!  Chance is thrilled!
I finished the yarn wrapped letters.  They seem a little plain so I may add some flowers made out of the material below if I have extra after making the crib bumpers and covering the glider.
I love the soft girly-ness (that's a word right? of course!) of the faded flowers and of course the pink and purple of it.

I'm going to soak up all of her cute cuddly softness before her brothers get a hold of her and turn her into a tomboy.  Which I'm totally cool with :)
I grew up with one sister so it will be very interesting to see this sibling dynamic.

On that note:
My sister has 2 boys and a girl as well.  Her 4 year old Aidan is 6 months and 1 day older than Isaac and Corbin is about 6 weeks older than Landon.
Sweet Paislee will be about 1 year and 4 months older than our baby girl, but I have no doubt that they will grow up best friends :)  Especially if we live near St. Joseph....
Dreaming :)
Here those cuties are from oldest to youngest.

Oh how I can't wait to kiss all those sweet cheeks!

Some of the shopping I've done.  I've been put on hold for a while.  Luckily Paislee will be sharing her amazing wardrobe with us.

Landon and I did a little fall photo shoot on the front porch this morning.  He isn't feeling well so anything that keeps him from being grumpy is fine with me.  If he wants to hug a pumpkin, he's getting to hug a pumpkin!

This guy :)

Airplane!!!

And this was him telling me he was ready to go eat some oatmeal and watch Mickey.

Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad;
let them say among the nations, "The Lord reigns!"

Make Like a Leaf

and Fall!

It feels like it around here lately.

We have had a few beautiful days that aren't humid or hot.  60's.  50's.  The weather the Fisher family loves!

Something about cooler weather actually warms my heart.  I am so happy right now.  I know it has something to do with the holidays coming, family visiting, and our babies.  And I can't let it go any further without giving ALL of the credit for my awesome moods to God.

He has blessed my family beyond what I could ever imagine.  I am so very grateful to my Heavenly Father for His love for me.

And some pictures of my blessings at soccer and doing some early fall activities :)
