Day 27: Place of Birth {31 Days of My Babies}

Landon was born in Sierra Vista, AZ.
This was our first Army station.  It was a very small hospital and the only one for about 100 miles.
Not scary at all :)
I had the quickest labor ever, and we barely made it to the hospital in time for Landon do make his debut.
Luckily we did make it, and he was born in a hospital room that was doubling as storage.
He was ready to come into this world and they didn't have a regular room ready.
Fortunately, it only took them about 10 minutes after he was born to clean the room up and make it comfortable.

Day 26: Place of Birth {31 Days of My Babies}

Isaac was born in my home town in Missouri, but he spent all of him time at Children's Mercy in Kansas City.
Both hospitals were great.  Children's Mercy was amazing and took great care of our sick little guy until he was ready to come home.  We are forever thankful for the staff there.

Day 25: Place of Birth {31 Days of My Babies}

Princess Hadley was born in North Carolina.
Our adventures in the Army sent us here (as you all know already).
The hospital was nice enough, which is probably not what you want to say about your hospital, but it served a lot of people. It was not always great about being on time, but they took good care of Hadders and I, and I couldn't be more grateful.

Day 22: The Airplane Video {31 Days of My Babies}

We have made one of these for each of the babies when they were newborns.
We get a kick out of it.

Day 21: School {31 Days of My Babies}

Landon is experiencing school for the first time this year.  He has never been in school setting, except for Sunday School, before this past August.  He was very upset the first few days of going.  Drop-off was quite a battle for a while.  Eventually though, he realized I would be returning and that it was actually fun to be around kids his age and do the activities.  The huge play equipment doesn't hurt either.  He now goes with no problem, but is very excited to go home when I come through the door.

Day 20: School {31 Days of My Babies}

Issac is all about school!  He rushes to leave in the morning and whines when I pick him up.  We are trying to change that, but his class has so much fun each day that he does not want to miss out on anything.  Even if the teachers are going home :)
Isaac went to preschool for the first time last year so this year is a breeze for him.  He is going to be set and ready to go when next August rolls around and it's time for Kindergarten.  Not sure if I will be though....

Day 19: School {31 Days of My Babies}

Hadley is enjoying daycare so far.  I have never sent a baby this age to daycare.  I was very apprehensive when she first started.  The thought of someone else getting those baby snuggles and love made me very sad.  I never worried about her safety or anything like that though, which would have been a no go here.  She seems to be doing well.  For a few weeks now she has been crying for a minute or two when I first leave her, but other than that she comes home happy and in the shape I sent her in.  I continue to pray that the sweet teachers in her classroom would keep loving and snuggling her the way I would.

Day 17: Happy Birthday Isaac {31 Days of My Babies}

5 Years Old
Not a single birthday goes by that I don't sit and ponder time.  It's just what happens when I see babies grow in front of my eyes.  Our God is amazing!

Oh Buddy Bear, how we love you so!
5 year ago today you were born several weeks early.  I had no idea that morning that you would spend a few weeks in the hospital and we would cry and laugh over you.  It was such a strange experience that makes us treasure you that much more.  I couldn't think of a better big brother for Landon and Hadley.  Even when you and Landon argue, you are a great guy always helping and wanting the best for your siblings.  Keep loving God and being excited to learn about Him.  We are very proud of the little man you are becoming.

Happy 5th birthday Isaac!

Day 15: Hair {31 Days of My Babies}

My middle little.
He has the blondest hair you've ever seen.  And it is 100% straight.  Not a kink in it.
We love it!  It grows long and silky and he loves to have it combed.
When I get to Heaven someday, I am going to ask God about Landon's hair.
We love it!

Day 14: Hair {31 Days of My Babies}

Oh Isaac.
He and sister bear have the same type of hair.
Thick.  Curly.  Brown.  Soft.
Buddy's is a little less curly though.
He's had a full head of hair since the day he was born.  Beautiful guy!

Day 13: Hair {31 Days of My Babies}

Little Miss Hadley was born with a whole lot of dark baby hair.
So soft and very curly.
I literally caused bald spots above her ears from rubbing it while she nursed.
I love this picture of 1 day old Hadley.
There is not much better than a teeny tiny baby in your arms.

This picture cracks me up!  This is what she looked like after a bath.

This is what she looks like on most days.
All natural!
And I love it that way.

Day 9: Playing {31 Days of My Babies}

Please excuse the fuzzy phone picture :(
Landon is a crafty guy.
Give him some colors, stickers, paint, etc. and he will knock your socks off with his creations.
Mostly, he just wants someone to sit next to him and color also.  He enjoys the connection over crafts :)
He is wearing donkey ears in this picture in case anyone was wondering.
